“Do you know what friendship means?”
Asks the young boy of fourteen.
“Should I tell you?” Asks the girl,
Beside the charming lad in green.
“Friendship is just like a pearl,
“In its depths does swirl and twirl,
“A magic and myster’ious place,
“If you give it a good whirl.
“It starts out a daring chase,
“A boy and girl do start to race,
“When one catches to the other,
“They slow down to equal pace.
“There they are like sister and brother,
“They start to notice one another,
“They play, they learn, they teach, they fight
“Just like a child and their mother.
“Then together they take flight,
“Taking up astounding height,
“Together they do rule the sky,
“And chase the dawn into the night.
“It’s enough to make you cry,
“Now the two see eye to eye,
“Never does this friendship drop,
“Never do friends say goodbye.”
The young girl shudders to a stop,
She lay down with a gentle flop,
The sky is strewn with stars above,
Bringing out a peaceful attercop.(*)
The boy’s heart flutters like a dove,
He now has a new doubt thereof,
He asks her with a gentle shove,
“Now how would you define ‘love?’”
(*) An “attercop” is an old word for “spider.”

LoZ: The Return...
Zelda was standing in her Royal bed chambers pacing back and forth, occasionally stopping to look in the mirror and make sure everything was just right. She was nervous and was biting her lips and fidgeting with her dress, adjusting it and her long brown hair. She had not seen Link in over three months. He was on a diplomatic mission, making sure that Hyrule kept it's good standing with the other kingdoms. There were skirmishes with bandits and the occasional monster or Moblins still lurking about, but thankfully none took place in Hyrule itself and Zelda wanted to make sure it stayed that way.

Friendship?
We used to talk
About, you know...
Everything.
Now we don't talk.
About, you know...
Anything.
I'm afraid to talk.
Because...
The things you say don't help anymore.
All of your words,
Just kinda...
Hurt.
I feel worse after I talk to you.
You make me feel like...
I'm nothing.
Maybe we just shouldn't be friends.
That way...
Maybe I'll feel better about myself.
After all,
I don't really think friendship...
Is supposed to hurt.

OoT: Saria's Song
OoT: Saria's Song
Follow me
Down this path
I'll show you a place that you've never seen.
But just keep up.
If you don't
I can't help
You'll be lost in the woods for a long time.
I have warned you.
That in mind
Let's go now
You and me.
Oh, what fun
We can have
In the woods.
Just keep up
And you'll see
This wonder.
But if you get lost sing this song to me and I will return to you
Please, remember this song.

"Do you know what friendship means?"
I would write something long and meaningful here, but I'm afraid I'm too tired to think of words easily. ;~; This is a poem dedicated to my companions on DeviantART and in real life who have helped me through my problems but still hung out with me, despite my whiny-ness. XD
Anyway, the people in the poem are two of my favorite canon Zelda characters, Link and Tetra. Link, you clever devil, I marvel at your skills to turn even a fearsome pirate into a princess at times. ;D
Before I go to the dedications, I would like to mention that stanza four ("other" rhyming) is my least favorite and I'm sorry it wasn't as good as the rest of the poem. D: Don't kill me!

~cykuu, you are brilliant. When I came across your old account on the internet, I was too afraid to say "hi." I'm so glad I finally got the guts! I love that we've become friends and I hope our companionship will withstand the battering of time and the unholy wrath of my cruddy internet connection. ^^
~Panda-mist, you are encouraging. I'm so sorry to hear that you have to move away at the end of the month. Just remember that even though you will leave your home, you will always have friends.
~SouthpawSister, you totally rock. Though real-life troubles get in the way of a lot of things, I'm glad you have time to come online and write your stories. I am eagerly awaiting your next Stargazing chapter and CRACKtastic roleplay. ;3

and , please don't think I have forgotten you two! I am writing a separate poem for my mentors. ;~;
Thank you all for making a lonely and unwanted person very happy!
